Early and personal life
Akshaye Khanna is the younger brother of actor Rahul Khanna and the second son of Hindi actor and politician Vinod Khanna.
He was a student at the Bombay International School. He then went to Lawrence School in Lovedale, Ooty, for his 11th and 12th grades. Geetanjali Taleyarkhan, his mother, was a Parsi.
