Early life and family
Chiranjeevi was born on August 22, 1955, in Mogalthur, a village in the West Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh, India, as Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad.
His father worked as a cop and was frequently relocated. He grew up with his grandparents in his hometown hamlet.
