Early life and background
Prithviraj Sukumaran was born in Thiruvananthapuram to actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran.
His family was living in Tamil Nadu at the time, and he went to St. Joseph’s Boys School in Coonoo and Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School in T. Nagar, Chennai. He went to the NSS Public School, Perunthanni, when his family migrated to Kerala.
He later transferred to Poojappura’s St. Mary’s Residential Central School, where he performed in plays and skits as part of the school’s Annual Day Celebrations.
He attended Sainik School in Kazhakootam and Bhavan’s Senior Secondary School in Kodunganoor for his education. During his time in school, he also competed in and won various debate and elocution events.
Prithviraj has earned the title of “Mr LA Fest” in the Annual Inter-School Arts Festival sponsored by Loyola School, Thiruvananthapuram for two years in a row, making him the only person to do so.
