Ravi Teja was born in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. His mother was a housewife and his father was a pharmacist.
He is the eldest of three sons, the other two of whom are also actors, Bharath and Raghu. Because of his father’s employment, Teja spent the majority of his youth in Northern India.
