Puneeth Rajkumar Biography
For his work as Ramu in Bettada Hoovu, he earned the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. For Chalisuva Modagalu and Eradu Nakshatragalu, he also received the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist.

Shiva Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar, his older brothers, are also professional actors.
On December 1, 1999, Puneeth married Chikmagalur native Ashwini Revanth. Drithi and Vanditha, their two daughters, were born after they met through a mutual friend.
Death
Puneeth died on his way to the hospital on October 29, 2021, after complaining of uneasiness to his wife Ashwini. Cardiac arrest was determined to be the cause of his death.
