Ganesh grew more interested in acting after earning his diploma in electronics and approached Kannada theatrical troupes such as Ranga Sampada and Ranga Shikshana Kendra, where he appeared in pieces such as Sadarame and Kadadida Neeru.

Primary source of Ganesh Net worth (Acting)
Ganesh’s first on-camera project was Guttu. Despite the fact that it was made as a telefilm in Karnataka, it had trouble finding a timeslot to air, and the unhappy producers decided to screen it as a feature at festivals and select theatres in the United States.
Deepak, a hapless software systems analyst played by Ganesh, becomes entangled in the ambitious adventure of an NRI woman (played by Chaya Singh) who visits India to retrace her family tree. In this debut part, his sense of humour and timing shone through.
Initial struggle
Guttu, a telefilm directed by India’s youngest female film director, Priyabharati Joshi, an NRI who moved to India with the goal of breaking into the Indian film business, was his maiden film.
Against the advice of industry insiders, Priyabharati offered Ganesh Guttu just as he was about to graduate from Adarsh Film Institute, just as he was ready to graduate.
Ganesh’s debut appearance in front of the camera was in Guttu, before moving on to his TV career and then feature films.
He began his career as a background actor, most notably as the lead character’s companion in a couple of films.
Mungaru Male and stardom
Then there was Mungaru Male, which was a huge hit in 2006. Yogaraj Bhat was the director of the film. Ganesh had been a part of the script development and was excited to be in the film.
E. Krishnappa was introduced to director Bhat by him. Krishnappa agreed to finance the film since he knew Ganesh (they are both from Adakamaranahalli, Nelamangala).
Because Yogaraj Bhat was unable to secure dates from any Kannada actress, he signed Pooja Gandhi, a relatively unknown actress. Jayant Kaikini wrote the film’s lyrics, and Mano Murthy, a part-time music director, composed the music.
Jayant Kaikini was a well-known columnist and writer who was the son of late writer Gourish Kaikini. The film was primarily shot in Madikeri, Sakaleshpura, Jog Falls, and Gadag during the rainy season.
In 2007, he acted alongside Mungaru Male’s Pooja Gandhi in the film Krishna, which became a box office sensation and ran for 100 days in Karnataka’s major cities.
