Ajith Kumar was born in Hyderabad, India, on May 1, 1971. His father, P. Subramaniam, hails from Kerala’s Palakkad, while his mother, Mohini, hails from Kolkata, West Bengal.
Anup Kumar, an investor, and Anil Kumar, an IIT Madras graduate-turned-entrepreneur, were Ajith’s two older brothers.
Ajith withdrew from Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School in the tenth grade, before finishing his secondary education.
