Early life and background
Tandon is the daughter of Ravi Tandon and Veena Tandon and was born in Bombay. Tandon is the niece of character actor Mac Mohan, and hence a cousin of his daughter Manjari Makijany. Rajiv Tandon, her brother, was married to actress Rakhi Tandon. Kiran Rathod, an actress, is her cousin. Her first job was as a model.
