Prakash Raj was born on March 26, 1965, in Bangalore, India, to a Tulu father and a Kannada mother.
Prasad Raj, his brother, is also an actor. He attended St. Joseph’s Indian High School before enrolling at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce in Bangalore.
