Allen Kelsey Grammer was born in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, on February 21, 1955, to Sally, a singer and actress, and Frank Allen Grammer Jr., a musician, and owner of Greer’s Place, a coffee shop and bar and grill. Karen, his younger sister, was his only sibling.
