Robert Bush (1920–2008), an English general practitioner, and Hannah née Daly (1918–1992), an Irish staff nurse and the child of a farmer in County Waterford, had Bush on July 30, 1958, in Bexleyheath, Kent.
She grew raised in a 350-year-old former farmhouse at East Wickham in Welling, which is close to Bexleyheath, with her older brothers, John and Paddy.
