Jofra Chioke Archer was born in Bridgetown, Barbados, on April 1, 1995. Frank Archer, his father, is English, and Joelle Waithe, his mother, is Barbadian. Through his father, he is a British citizen.
He moved to England in 2015 and would not have been able to play for England until the winter of 2022 at the earliest.
