Detroit Pistons
After graduating from Duke in 1994, Hill was selected third overall in the NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons. During his NBA career, he mostly played the small forward position.
He averaged 19.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.77 steals per game in his first season, becoming the first Pistons rookie to score 1,000 points since Isiah Thomas in 1981–82.
