Kumar’s possessiveness with Bharti and her juvenile personality was rumoured to be the reasons for her replacement. Bharti’s career stopped until Telugu cinema producer D. Ramanaidu offered her a prominent role in Bobbili Raja alongside his son Daggubati Venkatesh.
For her movie debut, she began filming in Andhra Pradesh. The picture was a smash when it was released in the summer of 1990.
