Rayudu was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, on September 23, 1985. Sambasiva Rao Yadav, his father, worked in the archives department.
In an interview, Rayudu stated that his father inspired him to take up cricket and enrolled him in a coaching camp while he was in third grade.
Rayudu’s father enrolled him in former Hyderabad player Vijay Paul’s cricket academy in 1992. Rayudu went to Bhavan’s Sri RamaKrishna Vidyalaya in Sainikpuri for his education.
