Kalyan Ram as Nandamuri Harikrishna’s son and N. T. Rama Rao’s grandson. N. T. Rama Rao Jr., his half-brother, is also an actor.
Ram went to St. Pauls in Hyderabad and KCP Siddardha Adarsh Residential School in Vijayawada for his education.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering in Coimbatore and his master’s degree in Chicago’s Illinois Institute of Technology.
He intended to go into the film industry right after engineering, but Harikrishna insisted that he study master’s because he wanted to be the first person in his family to do so.
