Manish is a Karnataka player. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2021, he was selected as captain of the Karnataka team. In numerous domestic tournaments, he captains the Karnataka team.
International career
On 14 July 2015, Pandey made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against Zimbabwe. His debut was a triumph, with a 144-run partnership with Kedar Jadhav.
When India was struggling at 82 for the loss of four wickets, Pandey joined Jadhav at the crease and made his maiden half-century before getting removed for 71 runs. On the same trip, he made his Twenty20 International debut for India on July 17, 2015.
