Stepping stone into V Ravichandran Net Worth (Career)
Dhoomakethu and Kula Gourava, both starring Dr Rajkumar, were his first on-screen appearances as a child actor, with the latter also being his father’s debut film as an independent producer. With Prema Matsara, he made his debut as a producer (1982).
His acting career began with an antagonist part in Khadeema Kallaru (1982), a film he produced. Chakravyuha (1983), his second picture, was also co-produced by him.
After that, he participated in a few more successful films before starring in Premaloka (1987), which was a box office hit.
For his multi-faceted works in his affiliated films, he is sometimes referred to as “The Show Man” of Kannada cinema.
Primary source of V Ravichandran Net worth (Acting)
Ravichandran began his career acting in and directing films under his own brand, Eswari Productions. He took acting opportunities from other producers after Premaloka.
He has collaborated with prominent Kannada film directors such as Rajendra Singh Babu and D. Rajendra Babu.
His collaboration with D. Rajendra Babu has been a huge success, with films like Naanu Nanna Hendthi (1985), Ramachaari (1991), and Sriramachandra (1992), Annayya (1993), and Yaare Neenu Cheluve (1998).
However, Shanti Kranti (1991), his most expensive picture, was his biggest failure as a producer.
Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna played important parts in Tamil and Telugu versions of the film, respectively.
It was a flop in every language. Ravichandran was forced to rely on remakes of hit Tamil and Telugu films as a result of his failure.
With Ramachaari (1991), Halli Meshtru (1992), Putnanja (1995), and Kanasugara (1996), he resurrected his career (2001).
He also demonstrated his ability to bring new life to remakes. It was all downhill for Ravichandran and Hamsalekha once they decided to break their long-standing partnership.
Ravichandran attempted an offbeat film called Ekangi in 2002, but it was a catastrophic failure. The narrative was a muddled, mistaken take on loneliness, shot within a gigantic glass palace erected at a cost of Rs 80 lakh.
Fans sought solace in the film’s music once again. Malla (2004)’s huge success aided his recovery. Ravichandran’s magic was lost after that.
He established Eswari Audio, which ultimately became Eswari Entertainments. On a state level, he was also named Best Musical Director.
He not only introduced Kannada cinema to the trend of big-budget films, but he also introduced Digital Grading technology.
To combat piracy, he began selling music cassettes through cable operators. Ravichandran has also appeared on television as a judge on Colors Kannada’s Dancing-star season 2.
Ravichandran was born to Tamil-speaking parents N. Veeraswamy and Pattammal in Tirunelveli, Madras State (now Tamil Nadu), India.
N. Veeraswamy, his father, was a producer in the South Indian film business. Ravichandran married Sumathi on February 14, 1986, Valentine’s Day.
Geethanjali is the couple’s daughter, and Manoranjan and Vikram are their sons. With Saheba, Manoranjan made his acting debut (2017).
