Biography of Mahela Jayawardene
Jayawardene received his education at Colombo’s Nalanda College. Senerath Jayawardene, Mahela’s father, invited him to the Lionel Coaching Clinic hosted by Nondescripts Cricket Club at Cinnamon Gardens when he was a child. He learned to play cricket when he was there.
