Early life and family
Actor Vijayakumar and his first wife Muthukannu had an only child, Arun Vijay. He attended Egmore’s Don Bosco Maticulation Higher Secondary School. After finishing high school, he enrolled in Loyola College to pursue his higher education.
Kavitha and Anitha, his two older sisters, made their acting debuts in the Tamil film Coolie in 1995.
